POULTNEY — A Rutland woman faces charges after allegedly slashing the tires of a vehicle parked at a residence on VT Route 30 early Friday morning.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of vandalism at approximately 7:08 a.m. on April 18.
Troopers discovered both rear tires of a vehicle had been punctured with a knife, causing irreparable damage.
Investigation led authorities to identify Brianna Brayton, 24, of Rutland, as the suspect.
Brayton was located and issued a citation for unlawful mischief.
She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on June 30 at 10 a.m.
