REVERE — A joint investigation by local law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of a Lynn man and the seizure of significant quantities of narcotics, officials announced Tuesday.
Jose Luis Herrera Yepez, 36, was arrested following an operation conducted by the Revere Police Special Investigation Unit, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and Everett Police Department’s Special Criminal Investigations Unit.
Authorities seized over 25 grams of fentanyl and more than 25 grams of crack cocaine during the investigation.
Yepez faces multiple charges including three counts of distribution of Class B substances (crack cocaine), two counts of distribution of Class A substances (fentanyl), and trafficking in both Class A and Class B substances.
The suspect is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Chelsea District Court at 9 a.m.
