SHANDAKEN — A 46-year-old Prattsville man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after police found his vehicle in a ditch on Wittenberg Road.
The incident occurred on April 6 when members of the Town of Shandaken Police Department discovered the vehicle off the roadway.
Following an investigation, officers determined the driver was not injured but was intoxicated by alcohol.
Police charged the man with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after tests showed he had a blood alcohol content of .12%.
He was also cited for moving from lane unsafely.
The driver was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Shandaken Justice Court at a later date.
