RANDOLPH — A Randolph man was cited for obstruction of justice and violation of conditions of release on Wednesday, authorities said.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were notified at approximately 12:05 p.m. that Justin E. Ford, 40, had allegedly violated his court-ordered conditions of release.

Investigators determined that Ford had violated a court order while also obstructing and interfering with an active case, according to state police.

Ford was issued a criminal citation without incident.

He is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges at a later date.
