GREENFIELD — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals Thursday following an investigation into medication tampering at Saratoga Bridges.

The investigation began when deputies responded to an inactive larceny call at the Greenfield facility on Feb. 27 at 11:41 a.m.

Andrew R. Dumas, 22, of Schuylerville, was charged with falsifying a business record in the 1st degree, a class E felony, and making a punishable false written statement, a class A misdemeanor.

Dumas is accused of making a report to the Justice Center containing false information and providing a sworn written statement to police that contained false information.

Allyson N. Owens, 46, of Glens Falls, was charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person in the 1st degree, a class E felony, and making a punishable false written statement, a class A misdemeanor.

Authorities allege Owens dispensed medication to a client knowing it had been tampered with and provided a sworn false written statement to police.

Both individuals were released on appearance tickets pending further proceedings in Greenfield Town Court.
