Reward increased in Manchester baby death investigation

MANCHESTER — The Manchester Police Department has increased the reward for information in the case of a newborn baby found in Pine Island Pond on March 27.

The Manchester Crimeline is now offering $5,000 for information leading to a breakthrough in the investigation.

The infant, referred to as Baby Jane Doe, was discovered under circumstances police consider suspicious.

Investigators are actively working to determine what happened to the newborn.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact their dedicated tip line at 603-716-7236, where detectives are available to receive calls or text messages.

Photo submissions related to the case are also welcome.

The department has expressed gratitude to community members who have already contributed to the investigation.
