Boston police recover firearm and drugs in Dorchester, two arrested

BOSTON — At about 1:21 p.m. Monday, April 14, officers from the Drug Control Unit of District C-11 (Dorchester) and the Quincy Police Drug Control Unit arrested Frances Jean-Felix, 32, of Dorchester, and Jason Holley, 32, of Dorchester, on firearm and drug offenses.

Officers were conducting a drug investigation and executing search warrants in the area of 15 Mount Ida in Dorchester and 209 Arlington Street in Quincy.

During the search, officers recovered a Shadow MR920 firearm with ten rounds in the magazine, nine packets of marijuana, one plastic bag of crack cocaine, and various drug packaging materials.

Both suspects were arrested and are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

Jean-Felix was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and possession with intent to distribute Class D.

Holley was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession with intent to distribute Class B, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
