WEYMOUTH — A 48-year-old local man was arrested Saturday night after police caught him allegedly peeping into windows at an apartment complex on Trotter Road.

Officers responded to the Woodstone Crossing apartment complex at approximately 10:45 p.m. following reports of suspicious activity.

Police found Xhevahir Hida crouching near a ground-level window behind 110 Trotter Road with his pants unzipped, according to authorities.

Hida, a resident of 15 Burton Terrace, was uncooperative with officers before being taken into custody without further incident.

He faces charges of lewd, wanton, and lascivious conduct, as well as disorderly conduct.

Hida was released on bail and is scheduled for arraignment today at Quincy District Court.

Police noted that a similar complaint had been reported in the same area within the past week.
