WESTON — Weston police have issued arrest warrants for two men in connection with a residential break-in that occurred on Winsor Way in March 2024.

Jonathan A. Becerra-Paez, 33, and Jonatan Matias Videla-Avendano, 37, are each charged with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for a felony, larceny over $1,200, and wanton destruction of property over $1,200.

The whereabouts of both suspects are currently unknown, according to police.

Officers responded to an activated alarm at the residence and arrived within approximately three minutes.

Upon arrival, they discovered damage consistent with forced entry and determined that several items had been taken from the home.

Detectives from Weston worked alongside multiple law enforcement agencies, both locally and across several states, to investigate the break-in.

According to police, the suspects are believed to be connected to what authorities call “South American Theft Groups” (SATG), which are organized criminal enterprises that travel between states committing burglaries and thefts.

These groups typically target expensive homes, particularly those owned by Asian Americans, and employ advanced techniques to conceal their activities, police said.

Brookline Police Department provided significant assistance in the investigation, as they had experienced similar burglaries involving the same suspects during the same time period.

The warrants were issued last week following the joint investigation.
