MANCHESTER — New York State Police responded to a report of a vehicle striking a building on South Main Street in Manchester early Monday morning.
Troopers from the Canandaigua barracks arrived at approximately 5:18 a.m. on April 14 to find a broken telephone pole and significant damage to Jack’s Kitchen, a commercial building.
The vehicle involved in the crash was not at the immediate scene but was discovered unoccupied in a nearby parking lot off Clifton Street.
Officers located Samantha I. Jones, 29, of Clyde, in the vicinity of the abandoned vehicle.
Following a DWI investigation, Jones was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
She was transported to the State Police barracks in Canandaigua for processing.
Jones was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court on May 14.
