SKOWHEGAN — Two police officers seized cocaine, fentanyl and a handgun during a traffic stop Saturday on West Front Street, according to Police Chief David Bucknam.
Officers Alex Burns and Tyler Dodge stopped a vehicle operated by Travis Clark of Waterville, leading to an investigation that brought K9 Reece to the scene.
The police dog indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle, prompting a search that yielded 2.15 grams of cocaine, 0.11 grams of fentanyl and a 45-caliber handgun, Bucknam said.
Clark was arrested on two charges of aggravated trafficking of scheduled W drugs, both Class A offenses.
Bail was set at $20,000 for Clark following the arrest.
