SALAMANCA — The Salamanca Police Department reported multiple arrests and traffic violations during the week of April 9-13.
On April 9, police issued one universal traffic ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign.
April 10 saw three universal traffic tickets issued for tint violation, speeding, and uninspected motor vehicle.
Also on April 10, Deven Hochstine, 22, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for aggravated harassment in the second degree and harassment in the second degree.
Hochstine was processed and held for arraignment in Salamanca City Court.
Police issued three speeding tickets on April 11.
Christopher Bise, 43, of Salamanca, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree following a traffic stop on April 11.
Bise received an appearance ticket to appear in Salamanca City Court at a later date.
John Newark, 41, of Salamanca, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and issued a citation for inadequate tail lamps following an April 11 traffic stop.
On April 12, police issued an appearance ticket to a motorist for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Pamanet Sackatook, 44, of Salamanca, was taken into custody for harassment in the second degree following a domestic incident complaint on April 12.
Sackatook was processed and held pending arraignment in Salamanca City Court.
Police issued one universal traffic ticket for uninspected motor vehicle on April 13.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
