ROYALTON — A 31-year-old Elmore woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time following a traffic stop early Sunday morning.
Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks pulled over Margaret Y. Roper on Vermont Route 107 in Royalton at approximately 1:22 a.m. on April 13.
During the stop, troopers observed signs of impairment, according to police.
After investigation, Roper was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
Roper was cited to appear at Windsor County Court in Woodstock on April 29 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of DUI, second offense.
