OXFORD — A 62-year-old Oxford man was killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision on State Highway 12 just south of County Road 4 on April 12.
A Trooper from SP Norwich came upon the crash scene at approximately 9:11 p.m.
The operator of one vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An investigation determined that Lawrence S. Slater, 51, of Norwich was traveling north on State Highway 12 in a Dodge Caravan when he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevrolet Equinox head-on.
The operator of the Equinox, Steven C. Biviano, 62, of Oxford did not survive.
Slater was transported by Oxford Ambulance to UHS Wilson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
