CHARLESTON — A 72-year-old Charleston man was found in a wooded area behind his home Friday after being reported missing.
William S. Uhsmann Jr. was located by Vermont State Police search teams approximately 200 yards behind his residence on Mountain View Road at around 5 p.m.
Uhsmann was exhibiting signs of moderate hypothermia when found.
He was transported to North Country Hospital for evaluation.
The Vermont State Police were aided in the search by North Country Search Dogs, the Vermont Army National Guard, and the Charleston Fire Department.
