Man arrested for violating abuse prevention order in Georgia

GEORGIA — Vermont State Police arrested a 38-year-old Winooski man Sunday after he allegedly sent threatening messages to a protected person on Decker Road.

Bradley Gelineau was taken into custody at 8:46 a.m. April 13 following reports of an abuse prevention order violation.

Authorities determined Gelineau had violated the order by sending threatening messages to the protected individual.

Gelineau faces charges of violating an abuse prevention order, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct by phone.

He was lodged at the Northwest State Correction Facility on $5,000 bail.

Gelineau is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Court at 1 p.m. April 14.
