LANCASTER — A traffic stop led to multiple charges for a local woman who allegedly assaulted a police officer on April 13.
Samantha Gaudette, 38, of Lancaster, was pulled over by Lancaster Police Department officers at approximately 3 p.m.
As officers attempted to take Gaudette into custody, she allegedly resisted arrest and kicked an officer.
The officer deployed a taser to gain control of the situation and safely complete the arrest.
Gaudette faces charges of operating after suspension, suspended registration, resisting arrest, and simple assault.
She was released on cash bail and is scheduled for a hearing in Lancaster District Court.
