ST. JOHNSBURY — A local woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant early Sunday morning after state troopers located her at her residence.

Shelby Kittredge, 33, of St. Johnsbury, was taken into custody at approximately 12:35 a.m. on April 13 on Saint Mary Street.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were on patrol when they learned Kittredge had an outstanding warrant.

The warrant was for charges of driving under the influence and attempted simple assault with fluids against a law enforcement officer, firefighter, emergency medical personnel, or health care worker.

After confirming Kittredge’s identity and verifying the warrant, officers transported her to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Kittredge was cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on April 14 at 12:30 p.m.

She was subsequently transported to Northeast Correctional Complex where she was held on $200 bail.
