RUTLAND — A local woman is facing her fourth DUI charge after refusing sobriety tests during an early morning traffic stop on South Main Street.

Lindsey McCormick, 38, of Rutland, was pulled over at approximately 12:48 a.m. on April 13 for an observed motor vehicle violation, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers reported observing multiple indicators of impairment while speaking with McCormick.

When asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, McCormick refused, police said.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.

McCormick was issued a criminal citation for DUI #4 (refusal) and later released.
