READFIELD — A Lewiston man died early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on Chimney Road, according to Maine State Police.
Steven Gregoire, 43, was killed when his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee drifted off the shoulder and struck several trees near 212 Chimney Road.
State Police received a report of the crash at 12:44 a.m. on April 13.
Preliminary investigation indicates Gregoire may have fallen asleep while driving and was killed instantly in the crash, authorities said.
