SARATOGA COUNTY — A Lake Luzerne man was arrested Friday on burglary and petit larceny charges stemming from an incident at the Wilton Walmart, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph E. Nunez, 50, is accused of stealing merchandise from the store on March 22 after having been previously banned from Walmart stores.
Nunez was charged with burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Chad Jerome in Wilton Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
The charges are not qualifying offenses for the purpose of setting bail under New York state law that went into effect in January 2020.
