ALBURGH — Two local men face felony charges after allegedly attempting to sell ammunition stolen from a fire-damaged residence, state police said.
David Richardson, 64, and Chaz Gagnon, 40, both of Alburgh, were cited for felony possession and sale of stolen property following an incident on Bay Road on April 6.
State Police in Saint Albans were notified at approximately 7 p.m. when a witness reported that Richardson and Gagnon had arrived at his residence attempting to sell ammunition.
Investigators determined the ammunition had been stolen from a residence in Alburgh that had recently experienced a fire.
Both men were ordered to appear in Grand Isle Court on May 22 to answer to the charges.
