NORTHVILLE — State Police arrested a 34-year-old Northville man on multiple charges including weapon possession and unlawful imprisonment following a domestic dispute on March 22.
Keegan M. Kolbe was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the first degree, Menacing in the second degree, Assault in the third degree, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.
Troopers responded to a home in Northville at approximately 7:52 p.m. for reports of a past disturbance involving a weapon.
Investigators determined Kolbe and the victim were reportedly engaged in a physical dispute earlier in the evening.
During the altercation, Kolbe allegedly held the victim against their will, struck them, obstructed their breathing, and threatened them with a firearm.
The victim eventually escaped and called for assistance and medical evaluation.
Authorities located Kolbe in his home and, after a brief standoff, he exited without incident and was taken into custody.
Kolbe was transported to SP Mayfield for processing and later arraigned at the Fulton County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
He was released after posting $5,000 bail.
