MILLIS — The Millis Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of an unconscious male on the side of Dover Road Thursday night, according to police officials.
First responders arrived at 49 Dover Road at approximately 10:46 p.m. on April 11 and found a 66-year-old male who was conscious and communicating.
The man was transported to UMASS Medical with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the possibility that the man was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The individual was wearing yellow reflective clothing and was riding a black bicycle westbound on Dover Road at the time of the incident.
Millis Police Chief Christopher Soffayer is asking anyone in the area of Dover Road, between Eden Street and Crestview Circle, to contact the Millis Police Department at 508-376-5112 if they have any ring camera video or additional information related to this incident.
