SYRACUSE — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 27-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident.
Nigel Chabot-Douglas is accused of fleeing the scene of a deadly crash that occurred Sunday, March 23 at approximately 10:21 p.m. in the 1200 block of Butternut Street.
Investigators believe Chabot-Douglas may have fled New York state following the incident.
The Syracuse Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding Chabot-Douglas’ whereabouts to contact their Traffic Division at (315) 442-5130 or call 911.
Authorities have not released details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing as officers continue their search for the suspect.
