SPENCER — The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Melissa D. Armstrong, 47, of Spencer, on April 4 for an active bench warrant issued by the Town of Nichols Court.
The warrant was issued after Armstrong failed to appear on a previous court date.
Armstrong was arraigned in CAP Court and released on her own recognizance to appear in the Town of Nichols court at a later date.
In a separate incident on the same day, the Sheriff’s Office arrested Olivia N. Delmauro, 23, of Ithaca, for Petit Larceny.
The charge resulted from an investigation into a larceny complaint at the Dollar General in the Town of Candor where Delmauro allegedly took items without paying for them.
Delmauro was issued an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Candor court at a later date.
