FORT EDWARD — A Queensbury man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly forcing his way into an apartment and violating an order of protection, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Oshane O. Wright, 28, faces multiple charges including second-degree burglary, a class C felony.

Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy said Wright was arrested following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred on Lydius Street in the Village of Fort Edward.

Investigators allege Wright forced his way into an apartment, causing damage, and violated an order of protection that was in place to protect a female.

Wright is also charged with aggravated family offense and third-degree criminal mischief, both class E felonies, as well as second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment on Wednesday, April 9, and held pending bail.
