MOUNT VERNON — Westchester County Police Department executed search warrants at a business and residence in Mount Vernon on April 10, resulting in a significant drug seizure and the arrest of a four-time convicted felon.
The operation, described as part of a long-term narcotics investigation, led to the recovery of approximately 1.5 kilograms of alleged cocaine, 3 ounces of alleged crack-cocaine, and 0.5 ounces of alleged heroin.
Authorities also seized precursor materials commonly used in cutting and manufacturing narcotics, along with paraphernalia and packaging allegedly utilized for drug sales.
Roshon J. Walker, 49, of West 3rd Street, Mount Vernon, was arrested during the operation.
Walker faces multiple charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, all felonies.
He also faces two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Following his arraignment in Mount Vernon City Court, Walker was remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
