ISLANDIA — Suffolk County police are seeking the public’s help in solving an assault case that occurred in December 2023 as part of Crime Victims Rights’ Week.
A woman was assaulted by a man in the wooded area behind Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Highway in Islandia, on December 20, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m.
The victim was transported to a hospital where she received treatment for her injuries.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the suspect to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
Crime Stoppers is offering a fast cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
