GREENBURGH — A Haverstraw man was arrested following a multi-agency undercover operation targeting online child exploitation, authorities announced Tuesday.
Moses Goldstein, 34, was charged with second-degree rape, a class D felony, after being identified through the joint operation.
The investigation was conducted by the New York State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities deployed a specialized task force of highly trained investigators and agents to infiltrate online platforms frequently used to facilitate crimes against children.
Using advanced cyber tactics, investigators identified Goldstein allegedly seeking to exploit vulnerable children online and arrange in-person meetings with them.
Goldstein was arraigned in Greenburgh Town Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail.
Bail was set at $10,000 cash, $20,000 secured bond, or $50,000 partially secured bond.
Officials said a thorough historical investigation into Goldstein will continue.
