SHELDON — A Sheldon man faces criminal charges after state police clocked him driving 93 mph in a 50 mph zone on Vermont Route 105 Thursday night.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were monitoring speed on the highway in Sheldon at approximately 9:31 p.m. when they observed the speeding vehicle.
The operator was identified as Ty Farnsworth, 25, of Sheldon.
Farnsworth was issued a criminal citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on May 27 at 8:30 a.m.
He also received two Vermont Civil Violation Complaints.
