Members of the District E-18 Drug Control Unit were monitoring an area near 1625 Blue Hill Avenue at approximately 4:50 p.m. when they observed Jaire Bagby allegedly conduct what appeared to be a drug transaction with another individual.

Officers also found three plastic bags containing marijuana in Bagby’s possession.

Bagby faces multiple charges including distribution of a Class D substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
