FRANKLIN — A resident reported hearing gunshots in the area of 758 Union Street on Wednesday, April 9, at approximately 9:10 p.m., according to Franklin police.
Officers responding to the scene found shell casings in the area but no suspects.
Police checked with residents in the neighborhood and determined that no one was injured.
No property damage was discovered during the initial investigation.
The Franklin Police Detective Unit is currently investigating the incident.
