EAST MONTPELIER — Vermont State Police arrested a 35-year-old East Montpelier man Thursday after responding to a reported dispute at a residence on Robinson Rd.
Steven Pelton was taken into custody at approximately 3:45 p.m. April 10 following an investigation that revealed he allegedly injured a household member after an argument.
Authorities transported Pelton to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
Pelton received a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court at 12:30 p.m. April 11 to answer to a charge of domestic assault.
The Vermont State Police do not release the names of victims in domestic assault cases.
