1 min read

EAST LYME — The East Lyme Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Andrew “Valeri” Lavigne, who has been missing for over three years.

Lavigne, 31, was reported missing on Feb. 16, 2021, but was last seen around Feb. 1, 2021, in New Haven, Connecticut.

Described as a white male standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 153 pounds, Lavigne has brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities say Lavigne has a history of substance abuse and is partially disabled, requiring the use of a cane.

These factors have heightened concerns for his safety and well-being, according to police.

The East Lyme Police Department has been investigating his disappearance since it was reported and has entered Lavigne into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

Anyone with information regarding Lavigne’s whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Turcotte at wturcotte@eastlymepolice.org or call the East Lyme Police Department at 860-739-5900.

Tips can remain anonymous, police said.
