BRADFORD — A local man faces voyeurism and false information charges after Vermont State Police determined he made a false report and possessed illegal video recordings.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to Munn Road in Bradford at approximately 3:33 p.m. on April 3 following reports of an individual possessing child pornography.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with Jakob Tanenhaus, 35, of Bradford, who was the complainant in the case.
Following a thorough investigation, troopers determined Tanenhaus had provided false information to law enforcement.
Investigators also discovered Tanenhaus was in possession of video evidence that was determined to be criminal in nature.
On April 7, troopers met with Tanenhaus and issued him a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court.
Tanenhaus is scheduled to answer to charges of voyeurism and providing false information to police officers on May 7 at 8:30 a.m.
The Vermont State Police did not release information about the victim, in accordance with their policy regarding victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
