2 Penn Yan women arrested for egging car

PENN YAN — Two Penn Yan women were arrested on criminal tampering charges after allegedly throwing eggs at a village resident’s vehicle, according to local police.

Laci Boozer, 53, and Andrea Kingsley, 55, both of Penn Yan, were arrested following an incident reported on March 28.

Penn Yan Police received a complaint that a village resident’s vehicle had been egged by two individuals.

Investigators recovered CCTV footage of the incident, which helped them identify Boozer and Kingsley as suspects.

When contacted by police, Boozer admitted to purchasing the eggs and throwing them at the victim’s car with Kingsley.

Both women were issued appearance tickets for third-degree criminal tampering and released to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
