PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police report two arrests over the week.
At 10:02 a.m., Troopers arrested Shawn McGonagle, 52, of Attleboro, Massachusetts on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on a domestic violence charge, and for violation of a no contact order.
McGonagle was stopped on Douglas Avenue in Providence and transported to Lincoln Woods Barracks before his afternoon arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
At 2:45 p.m., Troopers arrested Leomal Tejada, 26, of Cranston, Rhode Island for resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer, and disorderly conduct at the Department of Health-Human Resources Food Stamps office in Providence.
Tejada was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and given a future court date at Sixth District Court.
