WORCESTER — Worcester Police Vice Squad officers executed search warrants on April 9, recovering what appeared to be a large amount of crack cocaine from a Cambridge St apartment.
Officers had obtained search warrants for a Cambridge St apartment, a Providence St apartment, and a vehicle.
At about 11 a.m., officers observed the target of the warrant, 39-year-old Ryan McCabe, leave his Cambridge St address and enter a vehicle.
Police stopped the vehicle on Dwight St and detained McCabe while they entered the apartment.
Inside the residence, officers located what appeared to be crack cocaine along with packaging materials.
McCabe was placed under arrest and charged with Trafficking in a Class B Substance 18-36 Grams.
