MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS — A Rutland woman faces assault charges after allegedly striking a Middletown Springs resident on South Street Wednesday afternoon.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault at approximately 12:44 p.m. on April 9.
Investigation revealed that Mya Christman, 37, of Rutland, struck Heather Gardner, 33, of Middletown Springs, causing pain and injury.
Christman was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, at a later date.
Authorities processed Christman at the Rutland Barracks, where she was fingerprinted and photographed.
