LIMA — A West Sparta woman faces felony charges after allegedly damaging property at a Lima residence.
On April 4 at approximately 5:58 p.m., Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a dispute involving property damage at a residence in the Village of Lima.
Deputies arrived and began an investigation into the incident.
Authorities allege that Jerzee Lamonte, 20, of West Sparta intentionally damaged a window at the residence as well as an exterior fence.
Lamonte was arrested on April 7 by Deputy Cheyenne Masiello and charged with felony Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.
Following her arrest, Lamonte was transported to the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
She was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part at the jail before Town of Springwater Justice Johnson.
The judge released Lamonte on her own recognizance, as the offense does not qualify for bail under the New York State Bail Reform Act.
