Rockland man arrested on drug charges after search warrant

ROCKLAND — A 41-year-old Rockland man was arrested on multiple charges including felony drug furnishing after police executed a search warrant on First Street on April 8.

Jason Grigor was taken into custody and charged with Felony Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs and Violation of Conditions of Release, according to the Rockland Police Department.

Police said Grigor was out on several sets of bail conditions at the time of his arrest.

While executing the warrant, officers discovered evidence of a domestic assault that had occurred shortly before their arrival.

Following an investigation, Grigor was additionally charged with Domestic Violence Assault, which was elevated to a felony due to prior convictions.

The Rockland Police Department was assisted by members of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency during the operation.

Officials noted that the department regularly receives information from citizens about suspected drug trafficking locations throughout the city.

The police department stated it remains committed to using a multifaceted and proactive approach to address these issues.

Over the past year, Rockland Police have made multiple narcotics arrests through proactive and directed patrols.
