MORETOWN — A Barre man was arrested for violating conditions of release after crashing his vehicle on a snowy U.S. Route 2 early Wednesday morning.
Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash near Gallagher Acres at 2:12 a.m. on April 9.
The operator was identified as Walter Baldwin, 31, of Barre.
Investigation revealed Baldwin had conditions of release that prohibited him from operating a motor vehicle.
Baldwin’s 2008 Honda Accord sustained front-end damage in the crash.
No injuries were reported.
Baldwin was arrested and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was cited to appear before a judicial officer to answer for the charge of violation of conditions of release.
Baldwin was also issued appropriate Vermont Civil Violation Complaints related to the incident.
The crash occurred during snowy and windy weather conditions.
