DEERFIELD — The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Utica man in connection with a burglary at the Deerfield Fire House.
According to Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, deputies responded to the fire house in the Town of Deerfield to investigate a burglary that occurred the night of April 1.
The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit for further investigation.
On April 9, authorities charged Mersad Dolic, 33, of Utica with third-degree burglary, a class D felony.
Dolic is currently incarcerated at the Oneida County Jail on an unrelated charge and will be arraigned in CAP Court on the new charge.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to locate another suspect in the case.
