COLCHESTER — Colchester Police arrested a 22-year-old man Monday after responding to reports of a male chasing a female with a gun in a daycare parking lot.
Officers arrived at Little Lakers Academy on Prim Road at approximately 2:45 p.m. and determined the dispute was between two individuals who knew each other and had no connection to the daycare.
Robert Genest of Colchester was taken into custody following the investigation.
Genest faces multiple charges including First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Weapons Possession While Committing A Felony, Criminal Threatening, and Disorderly Conduct.
He was lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility and is expected to appear in court Tuesday.
