Fulton County sheriff reports 28 arrests in two-week period

JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office handled 489 incidents and made 28 arrests during the two-week period from March 14 to March 27, according to a bi-weekly report released by the department.

Among the incidents were 33 motor vehicle accidents, 168 traffic stops, 13 domestic violence complaints, and 8 larcenies.

The arrests included two individuals charged with driving while intoxicated: Steven R. Ellis, 58, of Gloversville, and Jesse L. Angel, 34, of Johnstown.

Two men, Adam S. Bleyl, 29, of Johnstown, and Zachary S. Jones, 32, of Fultonville, were both charged with criminal trespass in the second degree in the Town of Bleecker.

Nathan A. Weller, 23, of Johnstown, faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and assault in the third degree, both A misdemeanors.

Lincoln J. Flansburg Jr., 48, of Gloversville, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree in the Town of Oppenheim.

Multiple individuals were arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, including Daniel J. Parker, 26, of Broadalbin, who was also charged with circumventing an interlock device.

Three individuals were arrested on fugitive warrants, including Merill F. LaLonde, 44, of Gloversville, who was arrested on a fugitive of justice warrant.
