BURKE — A Lyndon woman escaped injury Tuesday morning after her vehicle slid off a snow-covered road and struck a tree near Burke Mountain Resort.
Vermont State Police responded to the single-vehicle crash on Mountain Road at approximately 9:50 a.m. on April 8.
Alissa Dambra, 38, was traveling east on Mountain Road when she lost control of her 2024 Ford Expedition in snowy conditions, according to police.
The vehicle sustained front-end damage after colliding with a tree.
Dambra was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, which likely prevented injuries, authorities said.
East Burke Fire Department, Lyndon Rescue and Roland’s Wrecker assisted state troopers at the scene.
