LANCASTER — A 19-year-old Jefferson man was arrested for underage drinking, and his older brother was subsequently arrested for DUI when he arrived intoxicated to pick him up from the police station, authorities said.

Lucas Ingerson was arrested on April 7 for unlawful possession and intoxication of alcohol by a minor, according to the Lancaster Police Department.

Due to his intoxication, Ingerson was required to be released to a sober party and called his brother, 23-year-old Gage Knudson, also of Jefferson, to pick him up.

When Knudson arrived at the police department, officers determined he was also under the influence of alcohol and arrested him for driving under the influence.

Both men were ultimately released to a sober party.

Ingerson was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 1st Circuit Lancaster Court on June 2.

Knudson was also released on personal recognizance bail and is required to appear in the same court on April 21.
