AUBURN — A 60-year-old Auburn woman was arrested after allegedly threatening to return to the city courthouse with a weapon, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Rose M. Baildon was charged with making a threat of mass harm, a misdemeanor, following an incident at Auburn City Court on April 1.
Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that Baildon became irate while in court at approximately 10:18 a.m. and began making comments about returning to the courthouse with a weapon and committing an act of violence.
Baildon turned herself in to deputies at the Public Safety Building on April 4, where she was arrested.
She was processed and released with an appearance ticket to return to Auburn City Court on April 16 at 1 p.m.
