ST. JOHNSBURY — A local man was arrested early Sunday morning after Vermont State Police responded to a 911 hangup call.
Stephen Turcotte, 46, of St. Johnsbury, faces charges of domestic assault, criminal threatening and three counts of violating court orders.
Troopers were dispatched to a residence in St. Johnsbury at approximately 1:41 a.m. Sunday.
After speaking with all individuals at the scene, police determined Turcotte had committed the alleged offenses.
Turcotte was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
He was held on $2,000 bail and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex.
Turcotte is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
